True Blood is heading across the pond
Mmm, sexy vampires.
UK fans can rejoice as HBO’s steamy and macabre series about a group of cajun vampires will finally see the light of day (hyuk-hyuk) on Blu-ray.
True Blood, based on a series novels, depicts the co-existence of humans and vampires in a fictional Louisiana town in proper HBO fashion (lots of nudity and violence). The series has proved to be a runaway hit and just wrapped its second season.
Available in the UK on October 26th, True Blood: The Complete First Season, will be nearly identical to its stateside counterpart – presented in 1080p with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.
The five-disc set has a few Blu-ray exclusive features, including six audio commentaries, BonusView support, a season index and episodic recaps and previews.
However, most fans will be delighted with the promise of Anna Paquin in high def.
