Matt Damon is Jason Bourne in The Bourne Mid-Life Crisis.

Warner Home Video announced that Steven Soderbergh’s The Informant!, the political comedy starring Matt Damon, will be available on Blu-ray this February 23rd in all Region 1 territories.

[Ed. Note: No date for a Region 2 release has been confirmed by Warner Home Video at the time of this article.]

The Informant!, Soderberg’s latest pairing with star Matt Damon, depicts Damon as a corporate vice-president who decides to blow the whistle on his company’s illegal price-fixing tactics. Based on the novel by Kurt Einchenwald, Damon has generated Oscar buzz with a recent Golden Globe nomination for his performance.

Outside of BD-Live support, deleted scenes, and audio commentary with Soderbergh and writer Scott Burns, most of the specs remain unconfirmed at this time. It will, however, be the first Warner Home Video release to be released under its new mandate to include a physical DVD copy with all new releases.

Warner Home Video announced that its summer comedy hit, The Hangover, will get a December release on Blu-ray – for both UK and US audiences.

The Blu-ray release, which includes a digital copy as well, will be available on December 15th in the US and December 7th in the UK. The home video release will also feature an unrated director’s cut, for both territories, but will include the theatrical cut as well.

Directed by Todd Phillips (Old School), The Hangover proved to be a mammoth hit, raking in $447.3 million worldwide. Buoyed by comedy veterans, Ed Helms and Zach Galifanakis, and its leading man, Bradley Cooper, The Hangover became the highest grossing R-rated comedy ever in the United States – breaking Beverly Hill Cop’s 25-year-old box office record.

Detailed Region 1 specs include Picture-in-Picture commentary, production diaries, outtakes, photo galleries and BD Live support.

I’m still holding out for a Mike Tyson commentary track, personally.
